Engaging iPad App for Color Theory
I am obsessed with color.
Whether it is selecting a color scheme for a scene or understanding the reasons behind why colors work and don’t work together, I can never get enough. With how much color matters to us as filmmakers, it is remarkable at times how often this aesthetic aspect of our work is pushed aside.
This app from Yale University provides an interactive method of learning based on Josef Albers’ book Interaction of Color. If you are like me and are interested in learning more about color theory this app might just be the thing for you! Check out the video below to get a preview of what the app has to offer!
If you don’t own an iPad you can always get the printed version of the book!
